If for whatever reason you need to cancel after you have booked with The Cyprus Retreat, the following refund policy will apply:

  • All cancellation requests must be received in writing.
  • Any promotional offers will be deducted from any refund.
  • Once you have received confirmation of your booking, you have one week to cancel and obtain a full refund.

After this period, the following refund policy will apply:

  • Up until 60 days before the start date of the booking, the cost minus the deposit will be refunded. After which, there will be no refund.
  • If you would like to change the date, this must be requested at least 90 days before the start date of the booking and will incur a cost of £100 per person.
  • Alternatively, you can change the guest name at a cost of £100 per person.

We endeavour to fulfil confirmed bookings. However, we reserve the right to cancel. If The Cyprus Retreat cancels a booking, the Guest will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

The Cyprus Retreat reserves the right to alter the content of the Activities (the 'Activities') at any time and without notice to the Guest due to certain factors including but not limited to the weather and physical fitness of the Guest.

If the Guest elects not to participate in any part of the Activities provided, The Cyprus Retreat has no obligation to provide an alternative activity and the Guest will not be entitled to a refund.

The Guest must refrain from any illegal act or any conduct which may give offence or cause danger and damage to any person. If The Cyprus Retreat or any of its staff, consultants or agents become aware of any such action, then The Cyprus Retreat may at their absolute discretion have the Guest immediately removed from The Cyprus Retreat without refund. The Cyprus Retreat will have no liability to the client in such circumstances.

If there is an issue during the Guest's stay, the Guest must report it to The Cyprus Retreat management. In the unlikely event that the issue cannot be resolved and the Guest wishes to make a complaint, then the Guest must notify The Cyprus Retreat in writing giving full details of the issue within 28 days of the end of the Guest's stay. Failure to serve notice of the complaint in accordance with the above will preclude the client from being entitled to take any further action against The Cyprus Retreat.

Guest Responsibilites

The Cyprus Retreat strongly recommends holiday insurance for all our guests. This must be purchased independently as it is not included in The Cyprus Retreat's offering.

The Guest is responsible for their own personal medical requirements, clothing and footwear. The Guest must inform The Cyprus Retreat of any health issues that may make them unsuitable to participate in the activities. Failure to disclose any serious illness, injury or high dose medication will allow The Cyprus Retreat to reserve the right to refuse the client to partake in strenuous exercise and such information may result in The Cyprus Retreat terminating the contract and withdrawing the guest without a refund.

The Guest understands that attending any activity or service provided involves some level of risk. These risks include but are not limited to physical injury or even death. By attending any activity or service provided by The Cyprus Retreat, the Guest agrees to assume these risks and agrees to release and discharge The Cyprus Retreat and its directors, employees and agents from any and all claims for liability.

Neither The Cyprus Retreat nor any of its directors, employees or agents will be liable for any loss or damage to any personal property or vehicle belonging to the Guest during the course of their stay at The Cyprus Retreat.

If any damage to the property, its contents or The Cyprus Retreat equipment is caused by the Guest, the Guest is liable to pay for the cost of the damage incurred.

The Cyprus Retreat reserves the right to take any photographs and/or recordings of the guest during the retreat. The Guest accepts that all rights whatsoever arising in the recordings shall be solely owned by The Cyprus Retreat.

The Guest accepts and agrees that any photographs and/or recordings may be used by The Cyprus Retreat at its absolute discretion in any manner including but not limited to its website, promotional material and advertisements.

The Cyprus Retreat reserves all copyright which may subsist in the products of, or in connection with, the provision of all activities, services or facilities. The Cyprus Retreat reserves the right to take such actions as may be appropriate to restrain or prevent infringement of such copyright.
